Through a post on Facebook, Xiaomi Malaysia revealed that Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C will launch on June 30. The image mentions “Big battery, big display” with no specification details. Both the phones are expected to be very much affordable.
Xiaomi did not reveal any specification, but the leaked specifications was appeared on the internet. Let’s have a look on that.
Redmi 9A : Leaked Specifications
The Redmi 9A will have a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with 1600 × 720 pixels HD+ resolution. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G25 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for additional storage up to 512GB.
As for the camera, the phone will feature a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP camera on the front. The Redmi 9A houses 5000mAh battery and has a fingerprint scanner on the back. Connectivity feature includes – USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack and an Infrared blaster.
Redmi 9C : Leaked Specifications
As per the leak, Redmi 9C will come in two variant – One with NFC and the other one without NFC. The NFC version will feature 13MP + 2MP dual camera on the back while non-NFC version will feature 13MP + 5MP + 2MP triple camera setup on the back. The front camera remains 5MP on the both the variant.
As for the display, both the variant will have a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with 1600 × 720 pixels HD+ resolution. The phone will be powered by MediaTek Helio G35 chipset paired with Mali-G31 GPU. Both the variant will debut in a single variant with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage and a microSD slot for additional storage. Maximum battery capacity for both the variant is 5,000mAh. Additional features are – Rear side fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack and an Infrared sensor.
